POST ADVERTISEMENT FOR 1 INFORMAL SETTLEMENT SPATIAL DATA ANALYST (CONTRACT POST)

Applications are invited for 1 suitably qualified person to fill in a consultancy position of an informal settlement spatial Data Analyst within the Local Government Division, Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The Data analyst will be required to process, collate and analyze required data or information for completing a South Tarawa Informal Settlement Analysis report which is one of the outputs of the Participatory Slum Upgrading Programme (PSUP project) phase III.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Geographical Information System (GIS), Geography or a related field and must have an experience with GIS mapping tools and related software. Experience in data collection, analysis, and management would be advantageous

Application opens on the 2nd March, 2021 and closes on the 11th March, 2021.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR ISLAND COUNCIL CLERK POST

The Ministry of Internal Affairs wishes to invite suitable candidates to fill in one vacant post of the Island Council Clerk L9-7 on a contract basis.

For those who are interested, please submit your letter of interest including CV, copy of certificates, Police Clearance, Medical Certificate (6 months validity) and other relevant documents to the MIA office at Bairiki no later than 8th March 2021 at 5pm. Please submit your full application to the Secretary for the Internal Affairs, Bairiki.

Those who have applied earlier and did not fully complete the requirement, they can submit full documents and information required before the closing date.

The Clerk for the Council can be posted to any outer island council based on the need required.
